One dies, two get hurt in road accidents

PATIALA: Anaj Mandi Patiala police have booked an unidentified man for causing death by negligence and rash driving on the complaint of Karamjit Singh, who alleged that the accused crushed his cousin Dalbara Singh to death near Faggan Majra village.
The complainant said that the unidentified driver rammed his vehicle into Dalbara's motorcycle. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.
Similarly, Sadar Samana police have booked an unidentified driver on the complaint of a local resident, Ankush Garg. In his complaint, Ankush told cops that he, along with his brother Himanshu, was going on a two-wheeler when a speeding car hit them and fled the spot.
"Ankush and Himanshu were rushed to a hospital where they received treatment. The statement of the victims has been taken. The speeding car had Delhi's registration number. The two brothers are stable. We are probing the matter. The accused will be caught soon," the cops said.
