The second edition of Kazhcha-Niv Indie Film Fest (KNIFF 2018), an open space for celebration of art, freedom of speech, right to dissent, aesthetic daring and experimentation will begin here on Friday.
Apart from 12 films that will be screened over four days, the event includes a bouquet of programmes ranging from musical midnight discussions and script lab to speech series on contemporary social challenges, panel discussions, painting exhibition and interactions with directors.
The theme KNIFF is ‘Inclusion.’ The main venue is Lenin balawadi.
Apurva Asrani, an influential voice in the fight for equal rights for the LGBTQ in India, is slated to open the festival.
