Making a resolution to workout in 2019? Start now!
We are already in the last month of 2018 and let’s just say that time flew by quickly. If you are like most of the people, this is the time to plan out the parties and not to forget the important resolutions and promises. Many gyms roll out their membership plans around the end of the year or sometimes even on New Year eve. Many opt for it but fall out very soon. Even if you go to the gym for the initial few days, continuing the routine to stay in shape becomes a far-fetched dream! This is why people don't take resolutions to stay in shape seriously. But, if you really want to stay true to the promise and get in shape in 2019, there is an easy hack you should follow.

The solution? Start working out in December itself and yes, before you ask, this claim we are making has a scientific backing to it.

As they say, the goal to workout starts right away and this works with year-end resolutions as well. December is not just a celebratory month but also helpful for weight watchers. If you want to stay in shape and look forward to a fitter self, start working out in December itself. Not only would this allow the body to get used to the new routine, you will also have lesser reasons to delay going to the gym - thereby reducing the psychological pressure on your mind. By the time the new year starts, you will have worked a great deal towards your goal. Plus, the gym or fitness studios will also be relatively emptier, as compared to the beginning of the year when so many people sign up which would help you get better guidance from the coach or trainer.

Even if you plan to run, December is a good time to get going. By the time January comes, you would be in a position to reach the advanced levels and get in a better shape before the party season. When you stay in shape and workout, the brain also derives positive energy from this and cuts down the risk for depression and anxiety, which again, is at a high during this season. So, yes, December is the perfect time to not just make resolutions but also work on them.
