Ravichandran Ashwin has been the pick of the bowler for Team India having bagged three wickets out of the five on Day 2 in the ongoing first Test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Friday.
Ashwin, who comes along almost a decade's experience of international cricket, was instructed by young Pant, who made his Test debut earlier this year and India debut last year when he played his maiden Twenty20 International (T20I).
Pant was heard saying on the stump mic, ” Ye chhoti ball ka wait kar raha hai bas, chhota nahi dena isko.” The young wicketkeeper was heard saying that during the 54th over.

While the Indian fans are used to watching MS Dhoni instructing bowlers from behind the wickets, it was hillarious that a young Pant has also begun to do that and that to with a player who is way too experienced than him. This also demonstrated the amount of confidence the 21-year-old boosts as a young man in the team.
At Tea, Off-spinner Ashwin took 3 for 38 as Australia were restricted to 117 for 4. Soon after the break, Australia lost set batsman Peter Handscomb, who was well frustrating the visitors with his gritty knock of 33 off 93 balls.
