'I have lost some members of my family': Fans left devastated as FOUR Gogglebox Australia favourites officially announce their departure from the show after eight seasons
Four Gogglebox Australia favourites have officially announced their departure from the popular Channel 10 show.
Sydney housemates Angie and Yvie and Victorian partners Tom and Wayne will not be returning for another season of the Logie award winning commentary show.
The news was shared by Gogglebox Australia's Instagram page on Friday.
'After eight amazing seasons @angie_and_yvie and @wayneandtom have decided it’s time to switch off their TVs and farewell #GoggleboxAU,' the network wrote.

Enough TV time: Victorian partners Tom and Wayne won't be returning to the show next year either

Both couples have been part of the series since it began in Australia 2015.
Many fans of the show were devastated to see the couples leave, including one who wrote, 'This makes me so sad! I feel like I have lost some members of my family.'

It comes after Network 10 announced it was casting for new families to join the 2019 season.
Back in October, a call out was made on MyCasting.net looking for people who are not afraid to be brutally honest with their opinions.

It also stated that producers were after 'engaging, witty and warm people who love everything about TV and want to share their views with Australian audiences.'
Gogglebox has been a ratings hit for Network Ten.
It has won three TV Week Logie Awards, including Best Factual Program in 2016 and 2017, and Most Popular Entertainment Program in 2018.
