Three people were injured when the driver of a BMTC bus lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a tree at 46th Cross, Jayanagar, on Thursday.
The accident occurred around 8.30 p.m. as the bus was heading towards Jayadeva Hospital from Banashankari. There were around 30 passengers in it. “The driver lost control of the bus while negotiating a curve,” a police source said.
Two passengers suffered minor injuries and were discharged. However, one patient sustained a head injury and was admitted to a private hospital. “He is out of danger and is under observation,” a senior police officer said.
Traffic was disrupted as a result of the accident and the Jayanagar traffic police were called in to clear the snarl.
