Pune: The NH7 Weekender 2018 kicked off with a crisp sunny start in the city on Friday. As Across Seconds warmed up the arena, Blushing Satellite lighted up the Doers Club Stage. Traffic was well managed and strangely, pamphlets with the phrase ‘Humanity is doomed’ printed on it were handed out as visitors walked towards the stages.

The food court had handy options such like half-portions with those with a small appetite. Well-known vocalist Mahesh Kale was the attraction of the day with many attendees anxious to see how he strikes a chord with new, younger audience. While the beats were blasting at other stages, Kale managed to floor the audience. In his enchanting style, the man had the audience mesmerised as his voice soared to the skies.

Meanwhile, on the Vivid stage, hip-hop outfit Paper Queen brought the house down.

The eventful day ended with the popular Hindi music composer duo Salim-Sulaiman take the audiences on a trip to Bollywood with fresh renditions of their songs.
