Chhattisgarh Exit Poll 2018: Poll of polls predicts 44 seats for Congress, 40 for BJP

Highlights

Chhattisgarh recorded 76.35% polling in the recently-concluded assembly elections. The election to the 90-member assembly was held in two phases -- November 12 and 20. Here are the highlights from the exit poll results this year:
Exit polls on Friday predicted a tight finish between the BJP and the Congress in the 90-member Chhattisgarh assembly. All the exit polls said the alliance of former chief minister Ajit Jogi's Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) and the BSP may win between three and eight seats, which may help him to emerge as a king-maker in the event of a hung house.
ABP

Central Chhattisgarh (43 seats): BJP tipped to win 30 seats while Congress may get mere 11 seats.

* JCC-BSP has been predicted to win 2 seats. The ruling BJP is likely to get 45% vote share whill the Congress is expected to get 33% vote share.

North region vote percentage

* Congress 42%, BJP 38%, JCC-BSP- 15%

North region seat share (34 seats): Congress-18, BJP-16, JCC-BSP-0

South Chhattisgarh seat share: Neck-and-neck battle between BJP and Congress as both are predicted to win 6 seats each.
