This hairdresser has an original way of shaving his customers – and we're not sure how to feel about it!

Isa Demir, from Sakarya in Turkey, shaves his customers while suspended in a metal frame he's hung from the ceiling of his barbershop.

His unique way of shaving goes back more than 20 years when he made a bet with friends that he could do his job upside down.

"Ever since, everybody calls me Bat Barber. Currently I can only do shaving upside down – to cut hair I have to stand," Isa said.

"Some people don’t believe it so they come here to see it for themselves. I've had customers from as far as Ankara, and even Korea. All of them were satisfied."

Regular customer Ekrem Celik said Isa performs a "perfect shave".

"He always works like this, hanging upside down," Ekrem said.

"I always recommend people to shave at the Bat Barber. Not even a barber standing on his feet can shave as good as him."

Another regular client said he gets "excited" whenever Isa shaves him.

"Anybody can shave standing on their feet, but not everybody can do it upside down," he said.

"I love anything different so I always come to my friend for a shave. When Bat Barber shaves me, it’s more exciting."
