Edible oils dip on weak demand

Despite improved global cues, majority of oils traded low on weak physical demand with soy refined quoted at ₹735-738 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹695-700.

Palm oil declined to ₹630, while cotton oil (Gujarat) ruled at ₹655-658 and cotton oil (Indore) at ₹700. Groundnut oil also traded low at ₹950-970.

In futures, mustard seeds showed a mixed trend with December and January contracts on the NCDEX closing today at ₹3,975 a quintal and ₹4,002 respectively.
