Pujara defies Aussie attack with a fighting century

India’s number three batsman Cheteshwar Pujara scored 16th Test century. His 123 stood tall in the team’s total of 250/9 against Australia in the first test at Adelaide. Pujara was run-out after a brilliant direct throw in the last over of the first day of the Test. India were reduced to 86/5 after Rohit Sharma fell for 37 in the first innings. He put up a 41-run stand with Rishabh Pant and a 62-run partnership with R Ashwin. This was Pujara’s 108th Test innings. Pujara's highest Test score is 206*
