Design Kerala Summit on December 11 to rebuild flood-hit state

: The government is organising a 'Design Summit' here on December 11 and 12 with a view to leveraging in rebuilding the flood-ravaged state.

Various sessions would be taken up for deliberation on public infrastructure, technology infrastructure, tourism, handloom uplift and living space, a press release said Thursday.

Experts from each area would innovate and outline models that ensure a sustainable ecosystem for a better Kerala, the press release said.

Pinarayi Vijayan would address the summit on December 12, the release said.

The summit forms the key segment of one of the largest design festivals - the six-day 'Kochi Design Week', it said.

The festival, to be attended by design luminaries, architects and decision-makers from around the world, concludes on December 16, the release said.
