Man shot dead by bike-borne criminals in Noida, another injured

NOIDA: A man was shot dead while another one suffered bullet injuries after two unidentified assailants opened fire at them near HDFC Bank in Sector 46 in Noida on Thursday.
According to the police, the two miscreants were on a motorbike and they shot two pedestrians, who were going home after work.
“Both persons were labourers working in Noida,” police said.
Ajay Pal Sharma, SSP of Gautam Budh Nagar, said that one person died on the spot whereas the other one is in critical condition and has been admitted to the district hospital in Sector 30.
“Police got an Aadhaar card from the pocket of the injured person identified as Harinath Singh (20) from Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh but this is not confirmed yet that the Adhaar card belongs to him or not,” Sharma said.
After the incident, the SSP remove the SHO of Sector 39 police station due to negligence.
