Welsh Cup weekend is upon us again and there is more than an outside chance of an upset or two on the cards.
There will not be too many Welsh Premier teams feeling confident they are a sure thing for a last 16 berth.
Llandudno, Cefn Druids and Llanelli Town all face tricky assignments, but arguably the two most attractive ties of round three are all-Huws Gray Alliance affairs.
Here is a look at the games affecting teams from the north (ties on Saturday, December 7, kick-offs 2.30pm unless stated)
Airbus Broughton v Porthmadog

Potentially the tie of the round.
This clash at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium with involve the top two teams in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Airbus are streets ahead at the summit with 14 straight victories to their name and a 13-point lead over Craig Papirnyk's second-place hopefuls, who nonetheless are capable of giving the Wingmakers a big test.
When the sides met in the league back in September, Airbus needed an 80th minute decider from James Hooper to edge a 2-1 triumph.
That was Port's last defeat and they have since gone 10 unbeaten in all competitions, winning nine of those games.
Bangor City v Holyhead Hotspur (Friday, 7.45pm)

This all-Huws Gray Alliance tie will evoke fond memories for Hotspur of their last meeting with the Citizens in Wales' top knockout competition.
In this same December week three years ago, underdogs Holyhead beat then Welsh Premier side Bangor 2-1 at the New Stadium.
As was the case on that momentous evening, Hotspur will again be second favourites to progress tonight, Darren Garmey's men currently lying bottom of the HGA with City much higher up in fourth spot.
Nonetheless, Bangor will take on the Holy Islanders on the back of a 2-1 loss at Rhyl last weekend - a result which ended a run of nine successive wins for Gary Taylor-Fletcher's men.
Hotspur, meanwhile, were also beaten last weekend, 2-0 at leaders Airbus, but one plus for Garmey's hopefuls is the fact their cup performances have been much better than their league displays this term.
And they have already drawn 1-1 with Bangor at Nantporth in the league this season.
Briton Ferry Llansawel v Llandudno

How Llandudno could do with a positive outcome at the Old Road Ground.
No wins in 10 in the Welsh Premier and rock bottom, Iwan Williams' side desperately need a victory to raise the confidence.
It will be no easy task at Briton Ferry, currently ninth in Welsh League Division One.
Denbigh Town v Cambrian and Clydach Vale

Welsh League Division One visitors Cambrian and Clydach created the story of the season so far when they beat holders The New Saints 2-1 to reach the Nathaniel MG Cup final last month.
On that form they should get past Denbigh, but Town play at the same-tier level as their opponents and are always capable of the odd cup upset themselves.
Flint Town United v Bala Town (Saturday, 7.30pm)

S4C's Sgorio have picked this one as their live game - do they foresee a shock?
Flint are flying high in the Huws Gray Alliance, but a 3-0 loss at Guilsfield last weekend will not have helped their mood.
The 2016/17 Welsh Cup winners Bala have had an up-and-down campaign so far, so a surprise is not out of the question.
Guilsfield v Connah's Quay Nomads

Huws Gray Alliance side Guilsfield are one of those unpredictable teams that can upset the best, but surely holders Nomads will have too much for them on the day?
Currently top of the Welsh Premier, Andy Morrison's side have already missed out on a League Cup final place, so will not want another setback in knockout competition.
Llangefni Town v Llanelli

Welsh Alliance Division One leaders Llangefni - just one defeat in 19 matches all season - take on a team from two leagues above.
Cefni are capable of pushing their Welsh Premier visitors hard, but Llanelli are improving, having beaten Cefn Druids and drawn with Caernarfon Town in their last two games.
The hosts have top-scorer Kevin Lloyd on the injured list, Chris Saxon is suspended, while Gari Owen and Jack Williams are battling to overcome injuries.
Newtown v Rhyl

For much of this season, Newtown have been very impressive in the Welsh Premier under former Rhyl Reserves manager Chris Hughes.
The Robins will be far from over-confident, however, taking on a Lilywhites team with seven straight wins behind them.
Another one of those which could end up close.
These two last met in the Welsh Cup at the 2014/15 semi-final stage, Newtown winning 2-1.
Prestatyn Town v Caernarfon Town (Friday 7.45pm)

While improving steadily under the returning Neil Gibson, Prestatyn remain next-bottom of the Huws Gray Alliance.
Are they ready yet to upset a team of Caernarfon's class, the Canaries having won at the likes of The New Saints, Connah's Quay and Cardiff Met already this season?
Regular Cofis keeper Alex Ramsay is suspended following his sending off at Llanelli last weekend, so Nic Bould continues between the sticks.
Darren Thomas returns from suspension while Danny Brookwell is slowly regaining full fitness.
Ynysddu Welfare v Cefn Druids

Big outsiders Ynysddu Welfare, who play in tier-five of the Welsh football pyramid, are the lowest-ranked team left in the Welsh Cup.
Druids won't be taking them lightly, though, having been dumped out by lower league Llanrhaeadr YM and Llanfair United in the past two seasons.
