Rs 3.2 lakh looted in Sitamarhi district

SITAMARHI: Two unidentified motorbike-borne armed criminals looted Rs 3.2 lakh from a CSP agent (business correspondent) of Bank of Baroda’s branch at Maniyari village in the district on Monday evening.

The incident took place when the CSP agent Rajan Chaudhury was on way to Sitamarhi after withdrawing money from Bairgania. Villagers said the criminals fled towards Sitamarhi after snatching the money. No one has been arrested in this connection so far, said police.
