NEW DELHI: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination will be conducted on December 9, 2018, in an offline mode and the result for the same will be announced after 6 weeks of the exam.
This year, CTET exam will be conducted in 20 different languages including - English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Assamese, Gujarati, Kanada, Khasi, Malayalam, Bangla, Manipuri, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, and Garo.
There will be two papers in the exam. Paper 1 will comprise of subjects such as Child development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language - 1 and Language - 2. There will be a total of 150 questions carrying 1 mark each.
The CTET Paper 2 will comprise of Child development & Pedagogy, Science & Mathematics OR Social Science, Language - 1 and Language - 2. There will be a total of 150 questions carrying 1 mark each.
