- It is the second time in as many months Target has recalled toys by the brand
Target has issued an urgent recall of a popular kid's gifts, just 20 days before Christmas.
The item on Santa's naughty list is the Young Ones My First Sand and Water Table, with the retailer removing it from shelves due to a potential choking hazard.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has identified a defect as a small part on the watering can nozzle which may detach from the spout, and has advised consumers to return the product to any Target store for a full refund.

Target has issued a safety recall on its popular Young Ones My First Sand and Water Table
The table has been on sale at Target, Target Country and online between 1 April 2014 - 29 November 2018 and proof of purchase is not required for a refund.
The incident follows a spate of issues with the Young Ones brand, with Target also recalling the company's Light and Sound Guitar in October, after it was found to pose a choking risk to small children.
It also presents a timely reminder to those buying Christmas presents for their little ones to keep an eye on the hidden dangers of many popular toys.
As a general rule, parents are urged to be mindful of buying gifts with small parts. A common test is to see if smaller parts of a toy fit through a toilet paper roll, as those that can are a potential choking hazard.

Daily Mail contacted Target Australia who said, 'At Target Australia, the safety of our customers and their families is our highest priority. This is why we've decided to conduct a voluntary recall of 'Young Ones My First Sand and Water Table' due to a quality issue.
We recommend customers stop using the item immediately and return it to a Target or Target Country store as soon as possible, with or without a receipt, where our team members will provide them with a full refund.'
Concerned customers should contact Target Customer Support Centre on 1300 753 567 or visit www.target.com.au/help/contact-us.
