Archeologists have found a pair of boots still on the feet of the man who wore them roughly 500 years ago.
????The man and his boots were found in the mud under London’s River Thames during construction on London’s new “super sewer,” according to CNN.????MOLA Headland is the firm leading the project and says that it was unlikely someone would have been buried in such a way at the time.
????They speculate that the man may have been "...a fisherman, a mudlark or perhaps a sailor." ????They also noted that the banks of the Thames were a dangerous place in the late 15th and earth 16th century.????Not only have the boots provided insight into the man’s occupation but his teeth did also.
????Archeologists said there were deep grooves in his teeth that were likely caused "by a repetitive action, like passing rope between his teeth as a fisherman might."??
