Ever since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot, their fans have been keeping an eye out for the first look of their wedding images. Just a few hours after the images and videos from inside the western and Hindu wedding ceremonies broke out, the couple continued their celebrations with a grand wedding reception at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

Priyanka Chopra sparkles in a designer lehenga

After making headlines with a 75-foot long veil, for her Delhi reception, Priyanka Chopra chose a champagne-hued tulle lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock. Instead of choosing a uni-directional approach with the designers in her wedding trousseau, Chopra picked a variety of looks by various leading Indian and international couturiers.

Falguni Shane Peacock have dressed the likes of Beyoncé, and are known for their dramatic, statement pieces. Tonight’s lehenga featured silver foil work and embellishments against champagne tulle. The bride chose a long-sleeved blouse that highlighted the designer duo’s signature beading work. The custom-made lehenga also bore motifs of elephants and birds, reminiscent of her Jodhpur wedding. The focus of the look was a three-string diamond necklace that brought together the various elements of her ensemble. Not usually one for wearing her hair up, Priyanka Chopra chose a textured bun with a halo of white roses to go with her look for the night. Nick Jonas complemented Chopra with a blue velvet suit.

Visibly in love and all smiles, the newly-wed couple posed for the paparazzi before the reception began. They were joined by members of their family, including Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Paul Jonas Sr. and Denise Jonas from the groom’s side—all decked out in Indian wear—and Madhu Chopra and Siddharth Chopra from the bride’s.
