Man is left with a fractured jaw and broken teeth after he and his fiancée are 'viciously assaulted by strangers on a bus' after asking them to quiet down

A man and his fiancée were allegedly viciously assaulted by strangers on a bus after asking them to quiet down. 

A Northern Beaches man claims he was 'blindsided' by two men who allegedly repeatedly punched him in the face, leaving him unconscious, at 9.25pm on Monday.

The 26-year-old was left with busted lips, a fractured jaw and broken teeth, Seven News reported.

'None of the shots were to my face… they were all from the back, the side,' the victim said.

'Head injuries, loss of blood, heaps of loss of blood. Just pain everywhere, broken teeth gone up into the gums.'

The victims' fiancée attempted to stop the allegedly attackers, but was also injured in the process.

The allegedly fight caused the bus driver to pull over and immediately call police. 

Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and treated the victim for serious facial injuries, including broken teeth and a suspected fractured jaw, officers said. 

One of the alleged attackers, a 22-year-old man, attempted run away but was tackled by two police officers, a witness told the publication.

He will face court later this month.  

The other alleged attacker is on the loose. 

The victim said he's been left 'terrified' by the alleged violence he endured, and that his fiancée has been left 'traumatised' over the attack.
