If you like your 5-door hatchbacks looking sporty, then larger wheels and spoiler add-ons should definitely do the trick, as long as you’re not looking to go too far with it.
Of course, there is one sure-fire way to end up with a very sporty A-Class, and that’s to purchase the Mercedes-AMG A35 version, however, not everybody wants or can afford to spend that much money – in the UK, it costs upwards of £34,350 ($44,000).
Meet the ‘Green Series’
Aside from its visual updates, this W177 Mercedes-Benz A250 also comes with a performance upgrade, with power rising from 224 PS (220 HP) to 258 PS (254 HP), and peak torque from 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) to 420 Nm (309 lb-ft). Should you expect any massive straight line gains? Probably not, but you might just drop the A250’s 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time to just under 6 seconds. We’re only guessing because no official figures have been released as of right now.
Otherwise, the car stands out thanks to its spoiler inserts, side decals, rear diffuser, sports exhaust system (with quad tailpipes) and green turbine-style RS8 custom wheels.
You can also have your Mercedes badges replaced with Lorinser ones, you know, just in case your ideal Mercedes A-Class doesn’t actually have Mercedes “written” on it.
Lorinser calls this tuning package the ‘Green Series’ and only 25 lucky limited edition W177s will get to wear it.
