A woman has been caught on CCTV footage shoving a 94-year-old man to the ground.

The shocking incident in Greystanes, in western Sydney, occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

The man, only known as 'Frank', was pushed to the pavement after he asked his neighbour not to park in his driveway, according to Nine News.

CCTV footage shows the elderly gentleman asking the woman to move her car forward during a school pick-up.

She moved her vehicle, but not before pushing the man over as a young girl watched on.

Neighbour Benay Atkin was shocked by the graphic footage.

'It's traumatised us all seeing that - he's 94-years-old,' she said.

'Frank just wanted to get out of the driveway with his car, and she didn't like that and she became very abusive.'

Frank chose not to press charges, but he and the woman both spoke to police about the incident.

His neighbours have since painted yellow lines in a bid to protect his driveway, and they also plan to put out witches hats each day so he doesn't find himself parked in.
