Man, girl commit suicide in Bengaluru

Representative imageBENGALURU: Facing opposition from their parents to their marriage, a youth and his underage beloved committed suicide by hanging themselves in the man’s house at Ramakrishna Nagar, near KS Layout in south Bengaluru on Monday night.
Sri Hari (24), a resident of Ramakrishna Nagar and his relative Nisarga (17), a resident of Malleswaram, killed themselves at the former’s residence when his parents had gone to their home town, Srinivasapura in Kolar district.
In a suicide note, the duo said they had decided to take the extreme step as their parents were opposing their marriage citing Nisarga’s age.
