George Avakian on supper with Beyoncé and Jay-Z: 'I passed the aux to Jay-Z people'

Johannesburg – George Avakian, Rocking the Daisies' music director, was one of a few people who were lucky enough to join Beyoncé and Jay-Z for a private celebration while they were in South Africa.
George shared a video on his Instagram Stories of Bey and Jay entering an unnamed venue while fans were heard screaming in the background.
Tweeting about the experience on Monday, George wrote: “Still can’t believe we had supper with Beyoncé and Jay Z, I passed the aux to Jay Z people. If only he knew I used to imitate his voice at beatbox shows, before I would drop the beat, dirt off your shoulders. Yoh life.”
George was not the only local celeb who got to spend time with Bey and Jay. Black Coffee also shared a video of himself standing next to Beyoncé at an event while she sang happy birthday to someone.
