Tamil Nadu foresters, forest guards online exams: Dos and don’ts for candidates

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu forest department will conduct online examinations for the post of foresters, forest guards and forest guard with driving licence from December 6 to December 9 in four batches. The exams will be held at 122 centres across the state.
Around 2.1 lakh candidates have applied for these posts out of which 22% of the candidates are women. Six transsexuals have also applied.
A total of 1,10,782 candidates have applied for the 300 posts of foresters.
In a press release, the department said candidates are advised to follow the dress code mentioned in the admit card.
They are also advised to carry only admit card (printed on colour laser printer) and any one of the six photo original identity proofs (Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, driving licence, passport and ration card).
Candidates are advised not to carry mobile phones and other electronic devices, data cards and purses inside the examination centre. They are advised not to carry any personal belongings as there are no lockers at the centres.
