Azhar leads fightback

Azhar Ali struck a half-century to help Pakistan recover to 139 for three at close on the second day of the third and final Test against New Zealand on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old Mohammed Hafeez, who made his debut against Bangladesh in Karachi in 2003, announced his retirement after the Test. He played in 55 Tests, scored 3644 runs with 10 hundreds and 12 half-centuries.
