A contingent of the Indian Air Force participated in the different formats of the Trivandrum marathon organised by the Sports & Youth Affairs Directorate on Saturday night, with an aim to encourage and re-energise the local population post the floods.
Air Vice Marshal B. Chandra Sekhar, Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration, Southern Air Command flagged off the run.
More than three hundred cadets and 12 staff members of Sainik School Kazhakootam led by the Principal Col. V.K.S. Rawat participated in the ‘Run for Kerala – Run to Rebuild’ Trivandrum Marathon. The cadets competed the 10 km segment while the Principal competed in the 21 km category.
