
Missing engineering student Ehtisham Bilal arrested from Srinagar
Srinagar: Ehtisham Bilal, the engineering student who went missing from the Sharda University Noida, has been arrested from Srinagar with the help of his family.
The police arrested him from in Khanyar neighbourhood, where he resided before joining militant outfit ISJK (Islamic State Jammu Kashmir).
The Police said that he was arrested with the help of his family as his mother repeatedly appeared on videos making fervent appeals to her son to return home.

Police officially announced his arrest and appealed for withholding his name.
“With the help of family and #police an individual (name withheld) has been brought back to the mainstream. Further details shall follow,” police said on Sunday.
17-year-old Ahtesham Bilal Sofi, resident of Kashmir, was a student of Sharda University in Noida. After a scuffle between students in the campus, he went missing on October 28.

The pictures on social media is showing Sofi dressed in a black outfit, claiming that he has joined terrorist group Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK), an outfit influenced by ISIS ideology.
