HYDERABAD: In a rare instance, N Chandrababu Naidu took to his Twitter handle to question TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The AP chief minister sought to know from his Telangana counterpart as to when did he (Naidu) became an obstacle to Telangana’s development. Naidu generally uses his Twitter handle to showcase the developments made by the AP government but on this occasion chose to use the platform to criticise his political rival.
“Did I stop him from giving three acres land to Dalits as promised? Did I stop him from making a Dalit chief minister, where did I stop from Telangana’s development, he should tell” Naidu tweeted.
Naidu, through his tweets, asked if KCR had done anything that he can be proudly say was through his rule? “Injustice is meted out to states by Centre, but he does not question Centre on it, but he criticised me who developed Hyderabad” Naidu pointed out.
Naidu also found a supporter in TJS president Kodandaram who wrote, “TDP is contesting only 13 seats. KCR could not stand by his word that he will make a Dalit chief minister” he said. Kodandaram also announced there will be a separate department for implementation of Common Minimum Program (CMP) after the People’s Front is voted to power.
Earlier on Sunday Congress minister D K Shivakumar and Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad met Naidu. Sources said that Shivakumar and Azad were in touch with Naidu ever since talks of an alliance between the Congress and TDP began . The TDP president is slated to participate in a road show in Jubilee Hills along with AICC president Rahul Gandhi on Monday afternoon. Naidu will leave for Kadapa on Tuesday and will return on the same evening to campaign in the city.
