LUCKNOW: Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) chief Shivpal Yadav congratulated six-time independent MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya for launching his political party Jansatta Dal on completing 25 years in active politics.
Wishing him well in his political endeavours and aiming to achieve equality in society by fighting for rights of the deprived, Shivpal praised Raja Bhaiya's contribution towards upliftment of the downtrodden and poor. Shivpal has himself recently launched his party after distancing himself from Samajwadi Party following a family feud with his nephew and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
On Friday, Shivpal had sent his emissary to the huge rally organised by supporters of Raja Bhaiya at Ramabai ground in Lucknow to congratulate the Kunda MLA on the occasion. Raja Bhaiya had acknowledged Shivpal's congratulatory note and accepted the bouquet of flowers that he had sent for him, before starting his address at the rally.
