Game of Thrones actor, Mark Lewis Jones has told how he didn't expect the series to be the hit that it's become.
The star, who hails from Wrexham, played Shagga in the HBO fantasy drama, and was in town for the Wales Comic Convention at Gylndwr University.
Mark told the Daily Post: "This is the first time I've been here (the Wrexham Comic Con) and it's fantastic.
"To have this in Wrexham twice a year is just brilliant.
"I'm from Rhos, just four miles down the road. All my family still live there. I went to see my sister last night and my mum and dad and some friends.

"It's nice to be home doing this right near where I come from."
The actor, who has also appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi said he didn't know what to expect when he played Shagga, the leader of the Storm Crows.
He told the Daily Post: "The brilliant thing about being in Game of Thrones was when it was the first season because I had no idea what it was going to turn into.
"I was standing in a field in the middle of Belfast doing those scenes with Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) freezing cold, not knowing what it was going to become."
Jones described being in Star Wars "was fantastic."

Forthcoming roles include a second series of Keeping Faith and he also appears in a drama called Gangs of London.
He was joined by a host of stars from the world of film, TV and gaming at the popular event which allows fans to get up close and personal with their favourite characters.
They included Guy Henry who played Pius Thickness in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
