The election commission has announced a re-poll in Mohdi booth of Anuppur district. The observer had recommended re-polling only in one booth in Anuppur district where there was a difference of 56 voters between the check sheet and the EVM. CEO VL Kantha Rao had sent the recommendation for repolling on report of observer to the chief election commissioner. After getting nod from New Delhi, re-poll has been ordered. Officials have been sent to Mohdi to conduct re-poll. Returning officer said that all preparations have been done and people have been informed about re-polling through public announcement in the area.
