AMBALA: The women police station has booked a man accused of raping a 19-year-old for three years when she was a minor. The accused was harassing the survivor for past few years. The survivor's family members had to leave their native village in the district in order to avoid the harassment, but the accused even started visiting their new rented accommodation in Naraingarh.

The accused had also molested the survivor's younger sister when she was alone at home and he was earlier booked by the women police station.

The police has booked the accused under Sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 452 (house-trespass), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC. The survivor said, "The accused had kept me under a false promise of marriage and later he denied. Instead, he started harassing me and my family." TNN
