Buenos Aires, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin said that the second working session of G20 leaders was incomplete as US President Donald Trump did not attend it.
“Unfortunately, Donald Trump has not attended the second session of G20 which was dedicated to global trade. He just did not come up leaving the discussion incomplete in many ways because the positions of Russia, Europe, China and India are close,” Oreshkin told Sputnik.
“The US side had not expressed its point of view on global trade issues because Trump had missed the meeting,” Oreshkin noted.
The G20 summit is being held in Buenos Aires on Friday and Saturday. The international forum is being carried out amid multilateral trade tensions sparked by US trade policies.
