The Somerset Berkley Regional High School "Blue Raider" Marching Band traveled to Quincy on Nov. 25 for the 66th Annual Quincy Christmas Parade. The parade is an adjudication competition parade for all participating, high school marching bands. The Blue Raiders competed in Division 1 and received a score of 93.0 for their performance. This earned them all of the Division 1 Caption Awards (Best Music, Best Percussion and Best Color Guard) and the 2018 Quincy Christmas Parade Division 1 Championship. The band has been competing in the parade for the past 11 years and this marks their 10th Championship. The band will be performing in the Fall River Christmas Parade on Dec. 1, the Taunton Christmas Parade on Dec. 2, the Stoughton Parade of Lights on Dec. 8, and the Somerset Wreaths Across America Event on Dec. 15.
