Bodedern Athletic v Llanrug United

Lock Stock Cookson Cup round two (Saturday, 1.30pm)

What a cracker this could be - the team that has taken Welsh Alliance Division One by storm this season against the side that ended Llangefni Town's 17-match unbeaten record in midweek.

Llanrug went second in Division One after Wednesday night's sensational 2-1 win at Cefni, while Boded are just a place below and a point behind, having reached the last 16 of the FAW Trophy last Saturday with a fine 1-0 victory over Chirk.

Last meeting: Llanrug 6 Bodedern 0 (FAW Trophy - Sep 23, 2017).

Brymbo v Corwen

Iwan Jones (blue - No9) heads home Llangefni Town's winner against Brymbo in the FAW Trophy

Guy Walmsley Welsh National League Premier Division (Saturday, 2pm)

Second against third, both teams with just one league defeat apiece.

Brymbo suffered a blow last weekend when they exited the FAW Trophy 1-0 at Llangefni, while Corwen marched on into the last 16 with a 4-0 thrashing of Glan Conwy.

Last meeting: Brymbo 0 Corwen 0 (March 18, 2017)

FC Queen's Park v Brickfield Rangers

Guy Walmsley Welsh National League Premier Division (Saturday, 2pm)

Queen's Park are currently top of the table, while Brickfield are fourth six points behind but with three games in hand on their fellow Wrexham side.

It's always a great battle between these two, who have not met since 2016/17 - the season where Park were crowned Premier Division champions.

Last meeting: Queen's Park 3 Brickfield 2 (March 4, 2017).

Bryngwran Bulls v Mynydd Tigers

NWCFA Junior Cup round two (Saturday, 2pm)

Bryngwran Bulls (red) take on Mynydd Tigers last season

A fierce rivalry is renewed in the Junior Cup.

Last season, when both teams were in the Anglesey League, Bulls beat Tigers five times in a row until it came down to the title decider and Mynydd triumphed 4-2 at Bangor City's Nantporth.

Mynydd moved up to the Gwynedd League, where they have found the going tough so far, while Bulls are top of the Anglesey League.

Top-scorer Craig Moore is still on the sidelines injured for Bryngwran, but they have plenty of other goal-scorers in the squad.

Last meeting: Mynydd Tigers 4 Bryngwran Bulls 2 (May 2018).

Corwen v Bethesda

(NEWFA Women's Cup second round, Sunday 1pm)

Corwen goalkeeper Elliw Ford could be a key figure against Bethesda
Corwen goalkeeper Elliw Ford could be a key figure against Bethesda

This could be an interesting one as the ever-improving Corwen do battle with all-conquering Pesda.

Bethesda have won all eight matches played this season - seven in North Wales League Division Two, where they lead the table by seven points - and the other in the NEWFA Cup, where they defeated Rhyl Development 2-1.

Corwen are a promising young side and they gave Pesda a good battle at the start of the season, where the deadly finishing of hat-trick hero Katie Midwinter proved the difference in a 4-2 victory for the Parc Meurig team.

Last meeting: Corwen 2 Bethesda 4 (Oct 7, 2018).
