Congress president Rahul Gandhi apologised about party leader CP Joshi’s remarks, has BJP chief Amit Shah ever asked his party leaders to apologise, asked Rajasthan state Congress chief Sachin Pilot. Pilot hit out at the BJP over the brouhaha created on the issue on the alleged casteist remarks made by Joshi.
In an interview with India Today TV, Pilot said: After CP Joshi's clip came out, Rahul Gandhi said it is not as per the ideology of the Congress and apologised. Has Amit Shah ever asked anyone from his party to apologise for their comments? Why is Rahul Gandhi visiting temples being made into an issue? We have no problem with the BJP people visiting temples.
Unwilling to comment on whether he will be the next CM of Rajasthan, Pilot said he does not know what is in store for him. I do not know what will happen in future but the dedication with which we have worked, I believe we are within striking distance. Once the elections are over, the legislatures will choose their CM.
The home minister should question the woman CM of Rajasthan on the rapes that have happened in the state. Yogi Adityanath has been missing from Uttar Pradesh.
Over here, he has been talking about the caste of Hanuman Ji. Who cares about the farmers, about unemployment in Rajasthan? The farmers never committed suicide earlier. Now, 150 farmers have committed suicide and the CM does not have half-an-hour to wipe their tears, said Pilot. Pilot also took potshots at Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and BJP president Amit Shah over the rumoured cold war.
