SBI officer goes missing, unidentified men booked
TNN | Nov 30, 2018, 09:27 ISTPATIALA: Police here have booked unidentified persons after a 55-year-old man went missing in the district on Thursday. A complaint in this regard was given by the wife of the missing man.
The complainant told cops that her husband, Sunil Dutt, was working as an officer in the loan department of State Bank of India. The couple is a resident of Urban Estate in Phase II.
"When the woman sought help, we immediately registered a case under various sections of the Indian penal code against some unidentified men. The complainant, Manju Sharma, told us that she, along with her husband, had gone for shopping. When they returned home, she all of a sudden had to leave for some work. She told her husband that she would be back in some time. When she came home after a few hours, she found her husband missing," said investigating officer Sukhdev Singh.
"The complainant said that her husband's wallet, ATM, mobile phone and other belongings were kept on the bed.
"She has alleged that some men might have kept her husband in illegal confinement over some unknown reasons. We are probing the matter," the cop said.
