Spare a thought for Alex Nation and Richie Strahan at the moment.

The former Bachelor stars - and exes - are currently filming the next season of Bachelor in Paradise together in Fiji.

And while there's no sign of a reunion between the pair, Richie, 33, was forced to awkwardly watch on as his 27-year-old ex-girlfriend struck up a romance with somebody else during filming this week.

The pair appear close, with their legs overlapping as they face one another.

At one stage, Alex was seen affectionately brushing hair off the man's face, and stroking his cheek.

They appeared to have been having a great time together, with Alex seen smiling and laughing as they sat chatting on the board.
