An uncapped 19-year-old Australia pacer grabbed a golden opportunity on Thursday after he picked up the wicket of India's big fish Virat Kohli.

After the first day of the four-day warm-up match between India and Cricket Australia XI was washed out by relentless rain in Sydney, the second day opened to quality batting from the visitors, with five half-centurions emerging from the Indian side.

But all eyes were glued on to one man - King Kohli.

Kohli, who guided Team India's series-levelling win in the third Twenty20 International, showed great intent at the crease. Unfortunately for him, Kohli was dismissed at 64 with a stunning caught-and-bowled by Aaron Hardie.

Hardie, who is yet to make a first-class debut, pocketed a quick reflex return catch from Kohli before launching the ball up into the skies in celebration.

Cricket Australia later shared the video on Twitter.

Fans and cricket enthusiasts from both the nations celebrated for the youngter's big achievement.

The allrounder from English coastal town of Bournemouth dismissed England captain Joe Root and James Vince in the same over, last year.

Earlier, Cricket Australia had defended the squad, saying that the main players were busy with Sheffield Shield.

Among the 12 players in the squad, only D'Arcy Short has played international cricket, that too in limited-overs formats.
