Kalolsavam: Students clash over results
tnn | Nov 29, 2018, 23:39 ISTThiruvananthapuram: The Revenue District Kalolsavam being held at Neyyattinkara ended on a sore note after students of different schools clashed over results on Thursday.
According to sources, the clash broke out between students of Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School and Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Neyyatinkara, who had competed in the drama competition. The faceoff soon snowballed into a clash when more people joined both sides.
Reportedly, five of the students from Christ Nagar School and four students of Neyattinkkara GHSS were injured. They were taken to Neyyatinkara General Hospital, where they received first aid.
Meanwhile, members of the organizing committee maintained that they were unaware of the real reason behind the clash.
