Dallas-based Prism Hotels and Resorts and Hilton announced today that the three NYLO boutique hotels under Prism management since July will join Tapestry Collection by Hilton in December.
“At Prism, our award-winning hospitality expertise expands beyond hotel management. We apply our owner-centric approach to a number of advisory services, including every step of the brand transition process. We’re proud to lead this portfolio of NYLO hotels through this change, optimizing hotel performance before, during and after conversion,” said Steve Van, President and CEO of Prism Hotels and Resorts. “Our focus and definition of success during a brand change is straightforward: optimize value for owners and execute a seamless transition.”
The NYLO hotels joining Tapestry Collection by Hilton include:
- NYLO Irving/Las Colinas, located in Las Colinas, Texas, features 200 guest rooms, two outdoor pools and expansive meeting spaces.
- NYLO Plano, located in Plano, Texas, features an industrial-chic design with 176 guest rooms, a lively first floor restaurant and bar and an outdoor pool.
- NYLO Providence/Warwick has 162 guest rooms and is situated along the Pawtuxet River, just minutes away from Providence, R.I.
Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a portfolio of upscale hotels that caters to guests seeking authentic, unique hotel choices. “The addition of the three NYLO properties allows Tapestry Collection by Hilton to enter two new states, Texas and Rhode Island, and brings impressive growth to the brand’s 2018 development,” said Jenna Hackett, global head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “By joining the brand’s portfolio, the NYLO hotels offer Hilton Honors guests and visitors alike, modern and contemporary offerings to help create a distinctive experience when traveling to Plano, Las Colinas or Providence.”
All three NYLO hotels will maintain their distinct style while being transformed both physically and experientially throughout the process. The renovation scope will involve light exterior upgrades with more extensive upgrades to the interior public spaces, guestrooms and guest baths. In addition, significant technology enhancements will be implemented to meet the needs of today’s savvy traveler, including Hilton’s Digital Key system. The hotels expect to complete most of the work by the end of 2019. Prism will continue to work closely with the expertise of JF Capital Advisors, which serves as strategic adviser to the owner, to lead the hotels through the conversion.
Over the years, Prism has forged a strong, long-lasting relationship with Hilton, currently managing nine Hilton properties, with three in development. Prism’s Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown hotel was recently recognized with the Hilton Connie Pride, Merit Award, one of the highest awards for all brands across Hilton.
