Disgraced former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has complained that he earns 'zero dollars' and claimed that he's unable to control his behaviour.
Nixon, who was at the top of the AFL agent heap before becoming embroiled in a shocking scandal with the 'St Kilda Schoolgirl' Kim Duthie, fronted the Melbourne Magistrates' Court for a series of traffic offences.
Nixon pleaded guilty to four charges of speeding between September 2012 and March last year, two counts of failing to stop at traffic lights between 2012 and 2016 and using his mobile phone while driving in 2016.

He was also stung for a boating trip on Port Phillip Bay in 2014 in a boat that failed to have safety flares.
Among the swag of fines were five parking fines from Port Phillip Council.
Nixon had an excuse for those fines, blaming them on a truck that constantly blocked access to his driveway.
'It's ridiculous,' he said.
Nixon was fortunate not to be hit with several more fines from Melbourne City Council, which failed to lob into court.
A load of toll infringements were also withdrawn by prosecutors.
Nixon escaped conviction, but was ordered to pay $250 of Port Phillip Council's $754 legal costs, and an additional $300 fine.
He must also be of good behaviour until May next year.

Nixon was treated with 'special consideration' on the driving offences after producing a document from his doctor stating he struggled to 'understand or control his behaviour'.
Nixon told the court he hadn't seen the doctor since last year and couldn't even remember what he had submitted to the court in September last year.
The court heard Nixon had enjoyed 'significant health improvements' over the past year and that he planned to open a 'health business' next week.
The 55-year old refused to tell Judicial Registrar Angela Soldani anything further because he didn't want it reported.
'They report every breath I take so I'd like to leave commentary to that,' he said.
Ms Soldani said while she accepted the doctor's claims might have impacted on Nixon's offending in relation to the parking fines, she could not accept it played a role in his speeding or using a phone while driving.
Nixon could face losing his licence altogether if he has received enough demerit points from the offences.
Nixon told Ms Soldani he worked sporadically mainly doing speaking engagements.
'My income is zero at the moment,' he barked.

Ricky Nixon continues to find himself in trouble with the law

Nixon again showed his disdain for the media spotlight as he walked into court, flipping his middle finger at a waiting photographer.
Nixon has form for poor behaviour outside of court rooms.
He once threw coffee on a court photographer after a foul-mouth rant.
That followed the furious player manager’s first court meltdown after being told an alcohol interlock device was to be fitted to his car for a year
He was one of the most high-profile men in sport when he was caught on a bed in his underwear in the hotel room of the St Kilda schoolgirl in 2011.
There were reports Nixon did drugs and had sex with the schoolgirl at the Causeway 353 hotel in Melbourne’s CBD.

The schoolgirl said she did have sex with him and took a lie-detector test on the Sunday Night program, which found she was telling the truth.
But Nixon refuted the claims in his 2016 book and said while there’s no denying he was filmed on a hotel bed in his underpants, there was no proof in the video he was having sex or taking drugs.
Nixon had his licence revoked in 2011 by the AFL Players Association accreditation board for breaching its standards of conduct, over his dealings with the girl.
In 2013, he pleaded guilty to bashing his partner Tegan Gould.
Magistrate Simon Garnett told Nixon he would have jailed him but for his lack of prior convictions for violence, his guilty plea, his charity work and his excellent prospects of rehabilitation.
Nixon had managed 46 players before his shocking fall from grace.
