H1N1 claims one more life in Trichy

TRICHY: A 34-year-old man, who was tested positive for H1N1 infection, died in a private hospital here on Wednesday morning.
This is the second death due to H1N1 in Trichy district in less than a week. At least six deaths have been reported here since October.
The deceased has been identified as M Saravanan, hailing from a village near Lalgudi.
Saravanan fell ill around 15 days ago. He was immediately admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital (MGMGH) here where he was tested positive for H1N1.
Later, he was shifted to a private hospital where he died on Wednesday.
Sources in the health department said Saravanan had other respiratory complications, which led to the condition turning fatal.
