Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar have flown down to Hyderabad to promote the big-budgeted visual extravaganza 2.0. Shankar's mega movie is releasing in Telugu in a huge number of screens.

Rajinikanth always attends promotional events for his movies in Hyderabad. This time he came with Akshay Kumar who is playing the role of Pakshi Raja. They had interaction with media on Monday evening at Park Hyatt Hotel in Hyderabad.

Shankar's 2.0 is produced by Lyca and is released in Telugu through NV Prasad. Dil Raju and UV Creations have also bought the movie's rights for some areas in AP and Telangana. Director Shankar urged audiences to watch the film in 3D as it would give the great experience he intended. "This is a full-length entertainer with lots of action and drama. All the actors and technicians have put in their best," he said.
