BENGALURU: Srirampura police from north division formed a special team to nab former corporator V Nagaraj alias Naga and his two sons, who have been booked for attempting to murder family members of his younger brother last week.

Chamundeshwari, wife of Nagaraj’s younger brother V Dharma, had on Sunday filed a complaint that Nagaraj and his sons, N Gandhi and N Sashtri, had attacked them after barging into their house. “The three men abused, threatened and brutally attacked us. My daughter Shwetha and a tenant called Jayalakshmi sustained physical injuries and were shifted to a private hospital,” Chamundeshwari said .

Nagaraj and his two sons were arrested in February 2017, in connection with criminal cases registered against them after police seized 14.98 crore demonetised currency from their house. The three men were released on bail in September 2017.
