Day 72 in Bigg Boss 12 house begins with the housemates waking up to the tunes of Desi Girl song. Somi Khan and Surbhi Rana are talking about Romil Chaudhary. Somi tells Surbhi that she will talk normally to Romil since he’s a good friend and she didn’t feel good on seeing that Romil couldn’t sleep properly at night. Deepak too joins the conversation.

Around 9 am, while Somi is in the kitchen with Dipika Kakar, Romil comes and says thank you to Somi for forgiving him.

Later in the afternoon, Karanvir Bohra reads out the luxury budget task for the week – BB Panchayat. The housemates are divided into two groups one led by Dipika and the other led by Deepak Thakur. Somi and Jasleen Matharu are the Sarpanchs. Dipika’s group includes Romil, Sreesanth and Megha Dhade while Deepak’s group includes Surbhi, KV and Rohit Suchanti.

Both the groups are constantly at war with each other. The leaders of the village groups  will make allegations on the other group members. If the sarpanch’s agree to listen to their allegations, then it is taken to hearing with their permission.

In the powder room, Jasleen and Somi decide that they will do whatever they feel like and won’t favour anyone. Somi says that they will make the others dance to her tunes.

In the bedroom, Dipika, Romil and Sreesanth are discussing the negative points or allegations against Surbhi, Deepak, KV and others of the opposite group. In the garden area, Surbhi, Deepak, KV are discussing the allegations that they can put on Dipika’s team members.

At 3: 45 pm the first round of the panchayat begins. Dipika makes the allegation on Surbhi that she’s the most fake person in the house and that her anger and aggression spoils the atmosphere of the house. Jasleen and Somi give Dipika a chance to prove that Surbhi is fake and Surbhi to defend herself.

Dipika calls Romil as her witness. Romil says that Surbhi had herself told Romil that she will be wild till the 9^th week and post that she will be domestic in her behaviour. Surbhi says that if she’s fake then Sreesanth and others are fake too. Deepak tries to defend Surbhi, but Dipika makes a comeback and says that Surbhi is nothing more than an embodiment of aggression.

Somi and Jasleen are having a discussion on whether Dipika’s allegation of Surbhi being fake is justified or not. Meanwhile, the team members of both the teams start having a verbal spat. It becomes Romil vs KV. Dipika wins the point on the basis of the statements made by both Dipika and Deepak.

At 4:45 pm Surbhi tells Deepak, Rohit and KV that the sarpanchs did not listen to her justification. In the bedroom, Romil and Dipika tell Sree not to get aggressive. In the dining area, Rohit is having a verbal spat with Jasleen and Megha. Jasleen says that Rohit doesn’t understand that there’s difference between teasing someone and insulting someone.

Sometime later, Surbhi comes and says why does Romil keep on staring at her. Surbhi further says why does Romil stare at his former sister. Romil swears on his child and mother and says that he was looking at Rohit not Surbhi. KV takes Surbhi out in the garden area.

KV tells Surbhi and Rohit to go inside and apologise to Somi and Jasleen for the sake of the task. Romil is hurt and says that Surbhi has stooped too low by making such allegations on him, that he’s staring at her. He says that he called her his sister. Somi tells Surbhi to apologise to Romil because she brought in the relationship of a brother and sister. Surbhi comes and apologises for her comment about the relationship of a brother and sister but adds that she doesn’t like it when Romil stares at her and that he shouldn’t do it.

During the next round, Deepak once again alleges that Romil is double-faced taking the example of Romil calling Somi a weak contestant and that Romil has called Jasleen a dumb contestant. Dipika tries her best to defend Romil. Jasleen gives Romil the chance to defend himself. Deepak keeps in interrupting Romil in between. Jasleen and Somi ask him to shut up.

In the course of the arguments, Deepak happens to touch Dipika’s hand a second time. She had asked him not to touch her earlier too. Dipika loses her cool. Sreesanth comes to defend her. KV and others also come in the argument. The point for this round goes to Deepak’s team.

Post that, a verbal spat follows between Romil and Jasleen. This turns into a fight between Jasleen and Sree.

At the next round, Dipika alleges that Rohit is demeaning and insults others in the house unnecessarily. Deepak alleges that same against Megha. Jasleen and Somi give Dipika’s case a chance. Rohit comes to the stand. Dipika starts giving instances of Rohit being mean and insulting to others. Jasleen brings in the point when Rohit commented on Jasleen’s eating habits. Somi also points out the demeaning things he had done. Deepak tries to defend Rohit but to no avail. Megha is asked to testify against Rohit. Somi and Jasleen decide to give the point of this round to Dipika’s team.

The duration of the luxury budget task for the day comes to an end. Romil is sitting in the living area and is crying. Somi comes to him and tries to calm him down. Romil is hurt about Surbhi’s comments. Somi says that Surbhi knows that she’s in the wrong. Jasleen also joins Somi and Romil.

Somi goes inside the bedroom and tells Surbhi that Romil is crying because of her comments on him staring at her. Surbhi says what she’s said, she has said. She can’t take it back. Somi says it was wrong on her part to question his character.

In the living area, Romil says that he has a lot of things going on in his mind at all times and he stares into nothingness. He breaks down saying that he isn’t of questionable character. Megha also comes to Romil to give him a piece of her mind and calm him down.

Later, Surbhi comes to Romil and says sorry in a very unapologetic way. She says that they were earlier brother-sister and now they are rivals in the game. Meanwhile, Somi tells Romil that she hasn’t got any other friend in the house with whom she can speak her mind. She adds that she feels lonely in the house now.

In the bedroom, KV, Surbhi, Deepak and Rohit are discussing whom should they make fresh allegations in the task the next day. KV suggests that they should begin with Megha and make the same allegations on her as they did earlier, calling her ill-mannered. He also says that they should save Sreesanth for the last round as they can win that round easily.
