‘PHI to be made model institute’

PATNA: State health minister Mangal Pandey on Tuesday said special efforts would be made to develop the Public Health Institute (PHI) located on the campus of PMCH as a model institute.
He was addressing the PHI students of 2018-22 batch as part of their orientation programme.
Principal secretary (health) Sanjay Kumar and Aryabhatta Knowledge University VC Prof Arun Kumar Agrawal, in their separate deliberations, stressed the need to refurbish the facilities and regularise the academic sessions at PHI.
On the occasion, PHI director-cum-principal Dr Vimal Karak presented the road map for the development of PHI, while senior faculty member Dr Deepak Verma gave the vote of thanks. A blood donation camp was also organised.
