We all have struggled to post that one tweet or Facebook update on the go, even as our poor network lets us down. While our hunt for free wifi never stops and the wait for OTP makes us age faster, Union Minister Babul Supriyo had a new trick up his sleeve to deal with the shoddy network that often leaves us fuming.

In a funny tweet posted on Tuesday, the minister shared a photo of his pug Eddie, who was his travel partner during his recent Rajdhani trip - in an attempt that the network would follow the dog.

"I took my Puggie Eddie with me on Rajdhani hoping Vodafone network wud follow him though the journey - afterAll he is their Brand Ambassador that’s what they claim in their commercials !![sic]," Supriyo posted on Twitter.

The minister was making a reference to the now iconic "You & I" advertising campaign that featured Cheeka the pug, which followed an eight-year-old boy wherever he went. Cheeka eventually became the face of Hutch/Vodafone in India and "Wherever you go, our network follows," later became synonymous with the campaign, and brand identity.

Even though Supriyo's 'trick' didn't fall into place, the Twitterati didn't complain.
