A stunning first-half strike by Bartholomew Ogbeche, his eighth of the competition, put NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) in front and Juan Mascia’s second-half penalty sealed victory against FC Pune City (FCPC) in an Indian Ssuper League (ISL) encounter at the Balewadi stadium here on Tuesday.
The win took the visitors to the second place, while Pune is eighth after nine games.
Kamaljit Singh tired his best under the bar for the home team, but was helpless on both occasions as he was beaten, resulting in a 2-0 victory for the visitors.
